Estimates are not binding quotes

Anything you receive through this website — a range, a ballpark, a written estimate following a site visit — is an estimate only. It is not a fixed-price offer and does not create a contract.

A construction price can only be fixed once the scope is defined, the site has been assessed, drawings and permits are settled, and material selections are made. Conditions discovered after demolition — structural, electrical, plumbing, water damage, code compliance — change the number. Any work we take on is governed by a separate written contract signed by both parties. Where this website and that contract differ, the contract governs.

Timelines

Durations mentioned on this site are typical ranges, not commitments. Municipal permit and inspection schedules are outside our control.

Website content

We keep the information on this site accurate and current, but it is provided for general information. Building codes, permit requirements and municipal by-laws change and vary between municipalities in the GTA. Do not rely on a page here in place of advice for your specific property — ask us, or ask your municipality directly.

Photography and intellectual property

The text, layout, logo and design of this website belong to MC Construction Design. Do not reproduce them without permission.

Client project photography: we photograph completed work and may publish it on this website, on social media and in proposals. Photographs never include your address, your name or any identifying detail unless you have given written permission. If you would prefer your project not to be photographed or published, tell us — before or after the work — and we will honour it.

Where stock photography stands in for our own work while the gallery is being finalised, it is labelled as such on the Projects page.

Links to other sites

This site links to municipal websites, our social profiles and similar third-party pages. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, MC Construction Design is not liable for loss arising from use of this website or reliance on the general information published here. This does not limit any liability under a signed construction contract, or any liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply in it.
